I am a Ph.D. candidate in biostatistics at School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh under the guidance of Dr. George C. Tseng. During my PhD studies, I am also a graduate student researcher under the guidance of Dr. Liza Konnikova at Yale School of Medicine and and Dr. Silvia Liu in School of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh. Prior to attending the Ph.D. program, I received my Master Degree of Science in Statistics from Department of Statistics, University of California, Davis, and Bachelor Degree of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from School of Mathematical Sciences, East China Normal University.

My research interest lies in developing and applying statistical methods to solving real biomedical problems. My methodological research spans statistical computing, meta-analysis of homogeneous or heterogeneous signals, high-dimensional clustering, Bayesian analysis, multi-omics analysis, statistical genomics and genetics. On the application side, I am collaborating with biological and clinical labs in wide fields to analyze data with advanced statistical methods for candidate marker detection, disease subtype discovery, pathway knowledge learning and network analysis in improving precision medicine and human health.
